Deployed

Ever heard of Somali pirates? Of course you have. Well, if you look at a map, my very own Djibouti is right next door to Somalia. In fact, my house is only about twelve miles from the border (apparently, there is no "Welcome to Somalia" sign at the border that you can stand under and take pictures with...lame).
Anyway, the good ol' US of A has a navy base here and while not as well known as Afghanistan and Pakistan, our soldiers are also being deployed to Djibouti. Phil says they are doing more than just fighting pirates here, but I like to think of them purely as pirate fighters, because it's cooler.
Wait, make that Pirate Fighters. That's better.

And honestly, there just aren't very many things that are cuter than a deployed soldier taking a break from Pirate Fighting to play with your two year old.

Nothing cooler than that! There is an "Old Soldier" here who would just love to play with a two year old grandson....
